Welcome to ISRIC – World Soil Information’s Resource Library for soil information producers! This library describes resources such as tools, tutorials, books, guides and more which can help people carry out the steps in the “soil information workflow,” as defined below. A typical Soil information workflows considers seven components: 1) needs assessment, 2) data collection, 3) laboratory analysis, 4) soil archiving, 5) data organization, 6) modelling and mapping primary soil data (soil properties/types), 7) applying soil information, and 8) data and information serving, as shown in the workflow figure.

Each resource described in this library matches at least one of the steps in the workflow. Each resource description includes its author(s), publisher, year of publication, rights for use (license), version, language, format and a link to access the resource.
